Currently, the prototype for the improved Marder 1A3 is being tested. This is a completely revised version compared to the Marder 1A5 version, which is being upgraded with a new engine and powertrain. Both versions are now being put to the test. We are curious to see what the tests will reveal. The trend is certainly exciting: we are procuring new super-infantry fighting vehicles, but we are keeping the old ones in use for as long as possible because we know what we have - see also Poland, where the new "Borsuk" is coming, but the old BMPs are also being upgraded.
