ENFORCE TAC 2026:

The Little PULS

Germany plans to adopt the Israeli PULS (Precise and Universal Launching System) from ELBIT, replacing MARS II launchers with a range exceeding 300 km. Additionally, ELBIT introduced the HAILSTORM, a miniaturized launch platform for battalion-level fire support. Negotiations are ongoing for 300–500 systems.

The big PULS is coming: The German Armed Forces plans to adopt the Israeli rocket artillery system PULS (Precise and Universal Launching System) from ELBIT. Known as EuroPULS (also MARS 3), it will replace the outdated MARS II launchers and, with a range of over 300 km, offers a future-proof solution. Germany is set to serve as the production site; negotiations are underway for a framework agreement covering a total of 300–500 systems, of which around 150–250 units are earmarked for the Bundeswehr, while other European countries will also adopt the versatile system.

For those who prefer something smaller: at ENFORCE TAC 2026, ELBIT unveiled the new HAILSTORM system. It essentially does the same thing as PULS and is therefore a mini-PULS. A launch platform with many ammunition options, ranging from rockets to loitering munitions. This powerful little system is intended for the battalion level to provide versatile fire support.
