Special Forces candidates face a harrowing experience during a Military Free Fall course, as one soldier gets caught on the aircraft ramp due to faulty equipment deployment. Quick thinking and teamwork result in a successful rescue by fellow soldiers and instructors. Photo documentation captures the intense moment of the incident.
Jumping accident during the Special Forces Military Free Fall (MFF) course in the USA. The young candidates are part of the special forces. Here, the sixth jump of the course is documented with helmet cameras: for the first time, the combat equipment is also included in the free fall. And two instructors, one on each side, accompany them. The Parachute Drop Bag (PDB) with the equipment between the legs, along with a weak jump, causes the soldier to hang on the ramp of the C-27J aircraft - and is dragged along. The rest is handled very professionally: the soldier remains calm and does not panic, while his comrades try to unhook him from the back. When they succeed, another instructor jumps after to make sure the candidate lands safely.
