The DAGIR in the hand
The DAGIR laser box from B.E.MEYERS, utilized by US SOCOM and the US Army, is a compact device featuring a CR123A battery compartment and various controls for laser mode and beam range. Variants like the DAGIR V2 offer additional features, including a Vis-override button for activating the visible laser.
So much has been read and reported about it, finally in hand, the DAGIR from B.E.MEYERS. This is the new laser box of the US SOCOMs and also the US ARMY. Amazing how small it is.
The battery compartment and cable switch socket can be found on the right side. Before anyone asks, yes, it is a special plug.
The DAGIR is powered by a CR123A battery, which is inserted sideways. Overall, the laser box is somewhat wider than the length of a CR123A.

On the left side are the selector switch for the laser mode and a knob for the beam range of the IR illuminator.
The DAGIR from above. Clearly visible are the slide control for the output power and the activation button. There are several variants of the DAGIR. Roughly speaking, the difference is that the DAGIR V2 and MAL-UHP have an additional push button on the top that activates a Vis-override. This means that when you press this button, the visible laser is activated, regardless of what is set on the side lever. HERE is where the DAGIRs are based. In Germany, they are available through JK DEFENCE.
