DEISER'S Canned Bread

At this year's ENFORCE TAC, we found what might be the best canned bread we know. It comes from DEISER'S from Austria, near Vienna, and is different from all other canned breads. We visited them and want to take you along with our first canned bread.

For the evening snack, there was whole grain mixed bread with sunflower seeds. The packaging is simply a can. The advantage of DEISER'S canned bread is that it lasts at least 10 years. Yes, you read that right, 10, in words ten years.

A classic can lid seals the can.

It hisses and unbelievably, the good smell of fresh bread fills the room.

Visually it looks like bread, but due to the unusual cylindrical shape, it somehow appears strange. But here we are concerned with the inner values.

A little survival tip on the side, the can lid can be used to cut the DEISER'S canned bread.

The first cut is a dream. This is what fresh, delicious bread looks like. On the lid, you can see the best before date: 25.06.2036, so 10 years. Usually still good for much longer if the can is undamaged. We will gladly test this, but you will have to wait 12 more years for our results.

Now let’s talk about the taste. The canned bread from DEISER'S is juicy and tastes like fresh bread. It’s incomparable to the canned bread you usually know. We are already looking forward to the other types of bread. In case anyone is wondering what the difference is between DEISER'S Original and the Ready-2 Survive bread cans: it's the label. The contents are exactly the same in both.
