DEFENTURE GRF for Switzerland

ARMASUISSE, the Federal Office for Armaments Procurement in Switzerland, has signed a contract with DEFENTURE for the delivery of the GRF (Groundforce) for the LAUF20 program. This is a follow-up measure to the first prototype delivery in 2021. The LAUF20 program aims to equip the Swiss Army with the light tactical and air transportable GRF with the most modern mobility capabilities.

The LAUF 20 program involves the delivery of a batch of DEFENTURE GRF with user-centric configuration. The base GRF will be equipped with a variety of subsystems such as weapon systems, communication suites, various (optical) systems, and a mast solution. DEFENTURE will act as the GRF OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and system integrator for the delivery of the entire system. Close collaboration with internationally renowned OEMs such as General Dynamics and Comrod exists for the delivery of the systems.
