That was IWA & Enforce Tac

03/11/2014By Redaktion
From March 7th to 10th, 2014, the international leading trade fair IWA OutdoorClassics took place in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center for the 41st time, with a new record of 1,343 exhibitors and over 39,000 trade visitors from all over the world. The special trade fair Enforce Tac for official equipment, which took place on the two preceding days, also impressed in its third edition.

When the success story of IWA OutdoorClassics began in 1973, it was not yet foreseeable that it would become the most important international meeting point for the industry in the following four decades. With a growth in the number of exhibitors and net exhibition space of over 11 percent and the opening of another and thus ninth exhibition hall, IWA OutdoorClassics 2014 presented itself bigger than ever before. And also more international: The exhibiting companies came from 54 countries to Nuremberg, 78 percent of them from abroad (2013: 1,209 exhibitors from 50 countries). The leading exhibiting countries after Germany were the USA, Italy, Turkey, and Great Britain.

The exhibitors of this year's IWA OutdoorClassics were extremely satisfied with the quality of the trade visitors, but the numbers also spoke for themselves: With an increase of around three percent to over 39,000 trade visitors from all over the world, IWA OutdoorClassics 2014 once again set a record (2013: 38,265 trade visitors*).

The New Product Center was very well received by the trade visitors, where the guests of the fair were able to get a compact overview of around 80 new products from all exhibition segments for the first time in the entrance area in the middle.

Enforce Tac 2014: Meeting point for official specialists

With an earlier start time on Wednesday and Thursday before IWA OutdoorClassics and a new location in Hall 10.1 of the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, Enforce Tac, International Exhibition & Conference - Law Enforcement, Security and Tactical Solutions, had two new features. The special trade fair for security experts from the police, justice, border protection, customs, military police, or armed forces was able to increase the number of exhibitors from 50 in 2013 to 79 this year in its third edition, with the exhibition space almost doubling. In total, almost 1,700 official trade visitors, 39 percent of them from abroad, came to Enforce Tac 2014 in Nuremberg. About 420 representatives from authorities took part in the parallel European Police Trainer Conference organized by the PiD - Polizeitrainer in Deutschland e.V., and the expert conference "Weapons and Equipment" of the German Police University in Münster (DHPol).

Save the date for 2015!

The IWA OutdoorClassics 2015 will take place from March 6th to 9th, 2015 in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center, while the Enforce Tac 2015 will again be held on the two preceding days, March 4th and 5th, 2015. Access is exclusively for trade visitors with appropriate accreditation for both events.
