This was the EDELWEISS summer competition 2022

Last weekend, EDELWEISS invited participants to its summer competition. A rich program was offered with several stations to gain a lot of experience. We started off with a sharp shot, as shown in the cover image. Sitting on the bus, hands lightly fixed, and upon the timer signal, the goal was to find and load the weapon in the car, then engage three targets from the vehicle and disembark. Once you found your second magazine, you entered another room to engage targets here as well. The scenario ended when the wild boar was found and placed in the trunk. Great station with some surprise elements! We really enjoyed it. Walking to the next hall, you could stop by an outdoor station from Pannonian Frontier. Here, everyone could try their hand at making fire. You could scrape some wood shavings with a knife or axe, then ignite a fire using a fire steel. For many, it was the first time and, like many things, it requires practice. Next was the airsoft station on the first floor. An exciting course was set up there. Not only because of the targets and obstacles, but also because of the spatial structure, adding an additional challenge. The last two stations for sharpshooting are pending. Starting with the first challenge, standing on a balance board and placing a total of 18 shots in 6 circles one after the other. Always maintain your balance, because anyone who tries to cheat here will be surprised by the instructor.

And last but not least. Here, the challenge begins in a sitting position, and while sitting freely, shots must be fired at a target until the magazine is empty.

Following that is shooting from the barricade, aiming at two more targets from there. The shooter then concludes by shooting at two more targets, where they must target each one-handed. And as if that wasn't enough, there was also a time measurement that affected the results.
