A lot has changed since the founding days: what started with a handful of employees and some exclusive brands is now a well-running shop, run by about 20 employees, with a wide range of products from manufacturers such as 5.11, TAD Gear, Prometheus Design Werx, Arc’teryx, Crye Precision, Oakley, UF PRO, HSGI, First Spear, Tasmanian Tiger, Lowa, Surefire, Beaverfit, and many, many more.

On December 8th, we were invited to Berlin to attend the anniversary celebration. The first part of the event was only for invited guests like close friends, manufacturers, and TACWRK family members - we were even more delighted to be invited. Special guests included marketing and sales representatives from companies like 5.11, Lowa, Tasmanian Tiger, and Beaverfit.After a cozy champagne reception in the showroom and a short speech by CEO Benno, we were shuttled to the party location. Until that point, hardly anyone knew where we were going: House Berlin - Panorama Lounge (you can see an impression of the impressive Berlin view in the picture above). Good food, music, and socializing was the next program point and also the last - high above the rooftops of Berlin.The next day, we took it easy and spent the morning in the showroom (above). Afterwards, we went to see a bit of Berlin and ended the evening with good burgers.Saturday was the official anniversary day for the customers. The event started at 10:00 AM - many people were already there when the doors opened to look around the store. As a special treat, many products were offered at a 20% discount that day, and exclusive product innovations for 2017 were presented by the special guests.Lowa showed us new boots from the Renegade series, Z6 and R6 duty boots, as well as shoes and boots from the Innox model.5.11 Tactical will be releasing a tactical jeans next year with concealed magazine pockets and a discreet cut - all with a good amount of stretch for perfect freedom of movement. Also interesting is the new rainwear system, consisting of a jacket and pants.Tasmanian Tiger is stepping it up in 2017: the Mission Pack will come in a new version, there will be some very interesting new backpacks that will fully open like the Arc’teryx Khard principle and have Velcro on the inside. The highlight, however, is that the packs are partly equipped with Laser-cut MOLLE loops on the outside and this is continued on the inside. So the Velcro fields are designed to also function for MOLLE pouches to attach. In addition, there is a whole set of modular Velcro pouches that are conveniently included with the pack.
