The Stoner for the Vietnam SEALs

The Stoner 63, developed by Eugene Stoner in the 1960s, was a revolutionary modular weapon system used by Navy SEALs in Vietnam. Though deemed complex, its modularity has been reintroduced with the FNH SCAR. The G&P replica, equipped with a version 2 gearbox and M120 High Speed Motor, is a coveted item for Vietnam SEALs enthusiasts.

The real Stoner 63, also known as XM22/E1, was a modular weapon system developed by Eugene Stoner in the early 1960s. In small quantities, the Stoner was used in Vietnam by the Navy SEALs. Thanks to a revolutionary modular design, the Stoner could be used as a light assault rifle, light machine gun, with a light or heavy barrel, as a Commando version, and in other configurations. The Stoner was very popular among the SEALs, but overall was deemed too complicated. The concept of modularity in a weapon has been reintroduced with the FNH SCAR. For those interested in Vietnam SEALs, this device, in the G&P replica, is now a long-awaited "must have": a version 2 gearbox with G&P M120 High Speed Motor is installed, the external quality corresponds to what one knows and appreciates from G&P.
