The newest off-road vehicle from Polaris is called MRZR Alpha and is slightly larger and more powerful than its predecessor, which has already been seen in use by several armies around the world. It can be admired for the first time at the DSEI Show in London.
The MRZR Alpha still features the well-known towing capacity of 680 kg (1,500 lb) from the MRZR family, as well as a blackout mode. The MRZR Alpha, like its predecessors, is available as a two- and four-seater, with an increased payload of 635 and 907.2 kg (1400 and 2000 lbs) respectively. The range at Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) increases to 225 miles (362.1 km) for greater operational flexibility, and it is compatible with heavy fuel oil - including DF1, DF2, JP8 and F24.
The top speed is over 96.5 km/h (60 mph). An enhanced terrain profile is achieved through a ground clearance of 30.48 cm (12 inches) at maximum GVW, a high-strength double A-arm front and rear suspension with load-leveling capability for payload, and 81.28 cm (32 inches) large runflat tires for high mobility with bead-lock wheels.
