The new STEYR ARMS AUG in 9 mm

Small but mighty. This saying proves true at the ENFORCE TAC 2025 booth of STEYR ARMS. In addition to large sniper rifles and 40 mm launchers, there is a "small" novelty: a new version of the STEYR ARMS AUG in 9mm. From the outside, it looks very similar at first glance, but it has a lot to offer.

The difference is primarily seen in this magazine. It looks like an AUG magazine, but it's not for 5.56, rather for 9mm. However, the dimensions are the same as a regular AUG magazine.

A top view makes it clearer: loading is done in the middle, the follower pushes the 28 cartridges forward. For us, this seems to be the most logical 9mm variant at first glance - we have already seen two before, with adapter conversions using their own or Glock magazines.

All of this results in a very compact and classically elegant weapon, which, however (see also magazine size), is currently reserved for authorities only.
