The Polish procurement agency Agencja Uzbrojenia has contracted Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” for 46,000 MSBS-Grot A3 assault rifles, reflecting enhancements from Polish military and Ukraine war insights. Key innovations include weight reduction, improved reliability, corrosion protection, and potential bullpup variants to bolster national defense capabilities.
The Polish procurement agency Agencja Uzbrojenia signed a contract with Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” (part of the Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, PGZ S.A.) for the delivery of 46,000 MSBS-Grot assault rifles in the A3 version to the Polish armed forces. During the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated that the Grot A3 is a “truly excellent assault rifle.” He also emphasized that Poland aims to strengthen the national defense industry as an important economic factor to promote both prosperity and security in the country.
The GROT A3 assault rifle (MSBS-5.56) brings profound improvements based on the operational experiences of the Polish army and lessons from the Ukraine war. The Polish manufacturer Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” has significantly revised the weapon both visually and mechanically.
