The new AIMPOINT Duty RDS

AIMPOINT® presents their latest Micro Red Dot Sight, the Duty RDS. The Duty RDS offers a bright, crisp 2-MOA dot that is ideal for short to medium distances. The windage and elevation adjustment settings are flush-mounted and waterproof, eliminating the need for protective caps.

The adjustment screws provide audible "clicks" for easier sight adjustment. The brightness switch is a new digital keypad that is also easy to operate with gloves.

A pressure-cast aluminum alloy housing ensures durability in extreme conditions and drastic temperature fluctuations. The sight is vibration and shock resistant, and can be submerged up to 25 meters.

Pow ered by a single CR2032 battery, the ACET technology provides over 3 years of continuous operation at daylight setting 7 and even longer in night vision compatible settings.

The Duty RDS comes with a one-piece torque nut mounting that can be attached to MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rails, providing an absolute co-witness height with standard height iron sights. The sight features flip-up lens covers that allow the user to acquire targets in an emergency with closed lens covers or to aim directly into sunlight. The sight is fully compatible with all generations of night vision devices.
