The Maritime Ballistic Survivor System (MBSS)

A classic gear kit for Navy SEALs is the Maritime Ballistic Survivor System (MBSS). It is manufactured by Allied Industries. The kit comes in OD and Khaki. The backpack is a standalone panel that replaces the back of the Plate Carrier when mounted. The MBSS itself accommodates SAPI plates for protection. The MBSS consists of:

1 Backpack with Flotation;

1 Front Carrier with Flotation;

1 Back Carrier with Flotation;

1 General Purpose Pocket;

2 Single Mag Pocket;

1 Double Mag Pocket;

1 Triple Mag Pocket;

1 Liteholder.

A very classic MBSS replica set in OD is available from WGC for 213 dollars. Pantac is known for its very solid MBSS replica, which costs around 70 dollars, but does not include the necessary pockets.
