It's quite easy: the first national prototype of the "Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle" for development and testing purposes was handed over to the German Armed Forces by RHEINMETALL in Unterlüß. Series vehicles are expected to be available from next year, with 19 units to be delivered by 2025. The Heavy Infantry Fighting Vehicle is based on the Australian Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle (CRV), also supplied by RHEINMETALL.
