CZ Scorpion EVO 3 replaces MP5 in the Finnish police.

In Finland, the MP5 from Heckler & Koch is likely to be phased out. Once the contract expires, they will switch to the CZ Scorpion EVO 3. The reason for this is to modernize the arsenal. Optics, lasers, and lights are easier to mount on the new rifle. However, the rifle is not likely to face a tough everyday life. Out of nearly 1 million operations in Finland, only around 1,000 of them involve "violence." Out of these 1,000, firearms were only used in 80 instances. Since the year 2000, only 7 people in Finland have been shot by the police. HERE is the link to the EVO.
