Rheinmetall is presenting an unmanned medium-caliber turret for the first time at the DSEI 2025 trade fair. Developed by Rheinmetall Electronics, the CT-025 is a powerful, lightweight, and compact turret that is particularly suitable for use on transport vehicles, light armored personnel carriers, or reconnaissance vehicles
.
Optimized for fire support at medium ranges, the CT-025 is equipped with the proven 25 mm Oerlikon KBA machine gun. It can fire in three modes and is fed from a double belt feed. Its effective range is up to 2,700 meters. A stabilized SEOSS 320 EO sensor and a powerful radar enable precise engagement of ground and air targets, including UAVs. The fully digitalized fire control system with inertial weapon stabilization, ballistic computer, and GVA/NGVA-compatible interfaces ensures maximum precision even when on the move. Based on an open, modular framework, the CT-025 is fully compatible with the Rheinmetall Battlesuite – an application-based “capability store” that allows functions such as AI-supported target tracking or other mission-specific software upgrades to be added at any time without hardware changes.

The consistent lightweight construction makes the system highly mobile and platform-independent. Proven Rheinmetall components, integrated design, and European supply chains ensure reliable, versatile firepower – ready for the demands of the modern battlefield.
