CRYE cuts off its pants
CRYE Precision is launching new shorts in three inseam lengths (5", 7", and 9") made from temperature-regulating fabric, featuring the classic G3 pocket configuration. Available in colors black, ranger green, and sizes 26 to 46, these shorts aim to appeal to those looking for stylish alternatives to cut-off pants. Expected release is before summer 2026.
We all know the problem: at some point, men want to wear their favorite pants in a shorter length. You can, but then you have to cut off the legs. If that happens with “issued” pants, no problem. Privately, it breaks your heart, and then you end up with your beloved and expensive CRYE pants looking like the ones above.
CRYE PRECISION probably couldn't bear the sight of cut-off pants and is now releasing new shorts of its own: They are available in three inseam lengths (5“, 7”, and 9") and are made according to the G3.5 pattern, meaning they have the classic G3 pocket configuration but the new temperature-regulating fabric. Three colors (black, ranger green, and black) and sizes 26 to 46 will be available. Hopefully before summer 2026.
