Combat Medevac Training - The injured robot

MEDEVAC could be one of the most dangerous jobs in the military. The medic must stay focused and calm while the helicopter and its crew may be under fire, trying to fly out injured soldiers and personnel to save lives. This video shows the use of a special robot during training, allowing practice as if on a real person. The wounds may not be real, but they look extremely realistic. The video depicts a MEDEVAC operation during Operation Global Medic 2016 in Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. The training unit is the 1st Battalion, 214th Aviation Regiment.
