Cinema: How Finland defends itself

06/20/2020By Redaktion

"Imagine there is a war...", and the Finns go for it. How that could look, you can see in the current short film of the Finnish Ministry of Defence: "Taistelukenttä 2020", which translates to "Battlefield 2020" in English. In this film, the country is militarily attacked by a unspecified national enemy. Finland is, as we know, extremely resilient and therefore the enemy is eventually repelled. As entertaining as Finnish sounds - "Käppis" means "Cheers" - we may not understand it, but there are English subtitles that help us understand everything.
