The Italian Army is modernizing not only its assault rifles, but also its portable anti-tank weapons, purchasing the Carl Gustaf M4 from SAAB. The Italian Ministry of Defense presented an 11-year program (starting in 2023) with a volume of €423 million for 2,720 launchers and 122,000 rounds.
