Heckler and Koch is probably delivering the new assault rifle for the Bundeswehr, after Haenel was excluded from the competition. Here are the details on SPARTANAT.

The new rifle is called the HK416 A8. The Heckler & Koch HK416 A8 features an ergonomic, adjustable shoulder stock in length and height, and a 45-degree safety architecture. It also has an adjustable gas intake (normal and silencer operation). The grip angle looks a bit strange in the picture and the handguard appears to be a bit short compared to what is usually used. This is probably due to the required maximum weight of 3.5 kg according to the tender.
