The Federal Army procures THALES SquadNet radio devices

The Austrian Ministry of Defense and THALES have signed a contract for the delivery of more than 2,500 tactical SquadNet radios that will support the digital modernization of the Austrian Armed Forces. "SquadNet combines a unique network waveform with integrated GPS, Bluetooth, and programmable encryption to provide reliable, secure, and critical communication capabilities in an affordable package of size, weight, and performance," the manufacturer said.
