Boatmen in colorful gear mix

This text discusses a surprising combination of SWCC boatmen and SEALs in operational zones, with a mix of old and new gear. The men are dressed in Woodland BDUs, Norotos 3-Hole-Shroud MICH helmets, and AOR2 gear, possibly including a CIRAS Maritime vest for flotation.

That's what you call a surprising combination: boatmen from the SWCC bringing SEALs into the operational zone, with a surprising mix of old and new. The BDU is Woodland, the MICH still has the Norotos 3-Hole-Shroud. Above that, the men are wearing gear in AOR2 - we would guess it's a CIRAS Maritime. Between Woodland and AOR, it appears that a vest is worn, which is likely made of foam and serves as a flotation kit - as a buoyancy aid. So that things don't go downhill when the equipment falls into the water.
