If there is a book that covers the topic of Special Forces in Iraq, then it is this one. "Special Forces - War against Saddam Hussein" was already published in 2005 and tells the operational history of SFs, Navy SEALs, PJs, and other international SOFs in the fight until the defeat of Iraq. The book not only impresses with a lot of excellent information about the use of special forces, it is also extensively illustrated. Plenty of operation photos are complemented by night poses of French reenactors, which are appealing, but sometimes also a bit freely interpreted. The book has its (high) price, which is quite justified considering the quality offered.
Erich Micheletti, "Special Forces - War against Saddam Hussein", published in 2005 by Histoire & Collections, 192 pages, extensively illustrated, available in bookstores or on Amazon for Euro 47.99.
