The book "SEALs in Vietnam" by Eric Micheletti provides a comprehensive look at the work of the US Navy Commandos through captivating photos and detailed descriptions. A valuable addition to any collection on SEAL history. Available on Amazon and Ebay.
One can find some personal memoirs about the work of the SEALs in Vietnam, but otherwise, it is not a well-researched chapter. Eric Micheletti, editor-in-chief of the French military magazine "Raid," has provided a solution and presented a great photo book that summarizes the work of the US Navy Commandos. The large-format book is not stingy with large pictures, which are also very well described. Also helpful are the gear tables, which appear to come from collectors and show original equipment items. In addition to combat images, there are also those documenting the boat equipment. A separate chapter is dedicated to the "Brown Water Marine," their boat shapes, and ships. A book that should not be missing in the collection of anyone interested in SEALs. It is worth looking for it on Amazon or Ebay, as it is already out of print.
Eric Micheletti, "SEALs in Vietnam," 144 pages, published in 1998 by the French publisher Histoire & Collections, available on Amazon or Ebay for around 48 euros.
