When we think of Grimoire, we always think of the Necronimicon, but there have been many spellbooks throughout history. The content of this book, written by Wndsn, also borders on magic. At least if you want to interpret accurate distance determination without lasers as magic. If you're wondering why there are two books in the picture: one in German and one in English. The German version is almost brand new, as it has only been available since this year. The table of contents is not very magical. Upon closer inspection, one can recognize a preference for mundane mathematics. And you are right, there are many, many formulas in this beautiful book. In order to calculate distances, one must calculate; there is no escaping mathematics. The first few pages cover some basics and give an overview of all the things you can do with the Quadrant-Telemeter. With what? We have already introduced you to a simplified version - the MIL-MOA Calculator (HERE)- of this small wonder of calculation. A detailed review of the Quadrant-Telemeter will be coming soon. With the Quadrant-Telemeter, you can calculate distances, analogically to the MKS or BÜSTE formulas, without needing additional instruments. It's not self-explanatory, which is why this book of consolidated knowledge was created from many individual guides. Through many examples and accompanying mathematics, everything is explained in detail here. More formulas and good graphics to explain the functions of the Quadrant-Telemeter. More trigonometry for everyone! Dry, but more exciting than in school. Or is that just our nerdy preference? The chapter titles have a magical touch... ...and a few hundred years ago, they most definitely were. Nowadays, it's called science. More math. You can never have enough trigonometry. At the end of the book, there are some very practical value tables. One table that is very important for our purposes is shown here. The Rad-Grad-MIL-MOA Table, for all precision shooters and those who want to become one.

Conclusion: Fun with math that seems magical, that's how the book can be summarized. Wndsn has really put in the effort to compile so much specialized knowledge. A scientific reference work for the art of distance calculation.
