Bluetooth for the headset

Simply put, DISCUS enables phone calls, listening to music, and interacting with Bluetooth-enabled devices through a military headset. DISCUS is connected between the radio (PTT) and the headset, or can also function independently from a PTT to establish a Bluetooth connection to the headset.

Put it simply, DISCUS can be paired with a Bluetooth device without the need for a radio. Moreover, it automatically adjusts the audio levels to prioritize radio traffic over audio received from a Bluetooth source. DISCUS is powered by a CR-123 battery, providing a battery life of up to 48 hours.
