Avon Protection has developed a new product range to protect military personnel working in CBRN environments: the EXOSKIN-B1 High Traction CBRN Boots and the EXOSKIN-G1 Tactile CBRN Gloves.

The CBRN threat is a growing concern for the armed forces as the use of chemical weapons increases among state actors and terrorist groups. In response, Avon Protection has developed the EXOSKIN range of boots and gloves to complement its CBRN respiratory protection products and protect personnel without compromising the wearer's tactical mobility in the field.

The EXOSKIN-G1 glove has been designed for handling and operating electronic touchscreen devices, offering a crucial operational advantage. The ambidextrous glove features a rubberized outer layer textured to maintain grip even when wet, and an intelligent seamless knit inner lining with conductive tips on both the thumb and index finger. Together, these layers enhance the wearer's dexterity, enabling them to safely perform their tasks.

The EXOSKIN-B1 boot offers improved durability and mobility in the field, easily attaching over standard footwear with quick-release straps. The heavily textured sole enhances the wearer's maneuverability in all terrain conditions and is 100% seal-tested.

Both the EXOSKIN-G1 glove and EXOSKIN-B1 boot are made from Avon Protection's proven rubber technology, providing protection against chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals. They are designed for quick donning and doffing and can be worn with various protective suits, including JSLIST and MkIVA.
