Beretta introduces the new M9A3 handgun with improvements including a modular grip frame, Picatinny rail, Tritium sights, and threaded barrel. This comes as the US Army reportedly seeks a replacement for the M9 Beretta.
As the US Army has allegedly started to look for a new handgun to replace the M9 Beretta, Beretta is taking the initiative and introducing the new version M9A3 before an official tender by the US Armed Forces. The improvements include a modular grip frame, a Picatinny rail, Tritium sights, and a threaded barrel for attaching suppressors. The civilian version is set to be presented at the Shot Show 2015.
