The abbreviation F-ENVG stands for Fusion Enhanced Night Vision Goggle and combines image intensification with thermal imaging, making it a true state of the art device. This technical marvel will soon be available at IEA Mil-Optics.

This monocular night vision device with an integrated thermal imaging channel offers image overlay, combining the benefits of both technologies in one device. The image intensifier allows the user to move freely in the dark and perceive their surroundings as if it were daytime. The additional thermal imaging channel allows objects that stand out based on temperature from the surroundings to be perceived much earlier and even without existing ambient light. This enables the detection of individuals at distances of up to 1,500 meters.

Another advantage of a device combining image intensification and thermal imaging in one housing is the color representation of the heat signature (display located behind the tube) as well as a compact and very lightweight design. The F-ENVG comes standard with 2nd generation tubes. For agencies, American 3rd generation tubes are also possible. The sensitive thermal detector with a resolution of 640x512 offers very high detail fidelity and therefore increased range. Through various modes such as Black/Hot, Target Enhancement, and Outline, the user can optimize the device for a wide range of situations.

The external battery compartment provides a minimum runtime of 8 hours or 60 hours. The weight of the monocular (without power supply) is less than 380 grams. A very large exit pupil and a tube with a choice of green or black and white image display allow for long and comfortable use. All information can be found HERE.
