Avon IHPS for the US Army
Avon Protection plc has been awarded a $87.6 million contract by the US Army for the development of the Integrated Head Protection System. This contract replaces a previous one withdrawn due to a competitor protest.
Avon Protection plc is pleased to have been awarded a contract worth up to $87.6 million over two years for the development and delivery of the next generation Integrated Head Protection System (IHPS) to the US Army. This contract replaces the Next Generation IHPS contract announced on September 24, 2020, which was withdrawn following a competitor protest.
