Exit restriction! What now?

03/17/2020By Redaktion

In Austria and other European countries, a curfew has been imposed. More countries will probably follow suit. Being at home all day may seem nice, but since it's not entirely voluntary, a feeling of being trapped starts to creep in. To counteract this unpleasant feeling, distraction is needed.

During the day, many will likely work from home, but what to do in the evening? Psychologists recommend "creating order" and exercising. So, let's plan how to restructure the gear cabinet. That should keep us busy for a few evenings.

Exercise is also good, but it's best not to unnecessarily leave the apartment or house. Fortunately, we have the book on prison training. In short, push-ups and squats can be done in many variations and require little space. Those with a sling trainer at home - even better.

Also, check on your roommates to make sure they're doing well and don't spend all your time watching the news on TV, as it can be very draining. Psychologists suggest planning your media consumption. We haven't watched all the Rambo movies in a long time...

If you can't stand being cooped up at home any longer, it's best to go for a short walk. It's not prohibited. However, make sure to keep at least an arm's length distance from other people to minimize the risk of infection.
