AUSA 2023: Pimp my M109

RHEINMETALL's first-class and battle-proven 155mm weapon system L52, integrated into the M109 self-propelled howitzer, provides the optimal solution for the army's required modernization of the M109 fleet. The exceptional L52 armament, currently in use in Ukraine and by eight allied forces worldwide, offers a significant increase in range, precision, and penetration power.

RHEINMETALL will showcase a range of field-proven propellants and ammunition at AUSA this year. These products and capabilities are closely aligned with the U.S. Army's modernization priorities in the area of long-range precision fires. The Rheinmetall-BAE team will conduct a series of live-fire demonstrations with the modernized M109-52 self-propelled howitzer in 2023 and 2024. At the RHEINMETALL booth, system solutions for platform, cannon, projectile, and propellant technologies will be presented throughout the "artillery ecosystem." A full-size M109-52 prototype will be on display at the BAE Systems booth and can be visited during the exhibition.
