Rheinmetall has been a proven transatlantic partner of the US Armed Forces for many years. At this year's Annual Meeting & Exposition of the Association of the United States Army, Rheinmetall is presenting a selection of its products and projects.
Exhibition visitors can learn about Rheinmetall's expertise in ammunition. For example, Rheinmetall supplies the 25mm x 137 Frangible Armour Piercing medium-caliber ammunition for the new F-35 Stealth Multirole Fighter. It is suitable for use against a wide range of targets and is already in use by two NATO nations.
Rheinmetall also highlights its role as a leading manufacturer of 40mm weapon systems. This includes ammunition types in the low velocity, medium velocity, and high velocity ranges, including the programmable 40mm x 53 Air Burst Ammunition. Fire control sights like the Vingmate FCS 4500 or the Multiray MR500 - a candidate in the US procurement project "Grenadier Sighting System" - complement the range.
Rheinmetall also introduces the new VIM Vitra day sight camera, which is suitable for enhancing the combat capability of existing remotely operated weapon stations.

Rheinmetall's expertise in the field of protection systems and networked operations is also addressed. For example, the Rapid Obscuring System (ROSY) will be presented. Rheinmetall will also provide information on its active defence system (ADS) - the US Army is currently considering the rapid introduction of active defense systems for equipment stationed in Europe. The ADS system is one of the most modern, intensively tested, and secure in the world, offering significant advantages in terms of technical maturity and safety for dismounted combat forces in the vicinity of combat vehicles.
Rheinmetall also provides information about its application as a general contractor in a joint venture with Rohde & Schwarz for two major projects of the German Bundeswehr: MoTaKo (Mobile Tactical Communication) and MoTIV (Mobile Tactical Information Network). Both projects aim to realize the future digital command and control system - essentially the "German Army 4.0."
Rheinmetall is also available for information on its activities in the area of advanced air defense, tracked and wheeled vehicles, as well as in training and simulation. Rheinmetall looks forward to your visit at its booth #619!
