AUSA 17: General Motors look into the future - SURUS

10/15/2017By Redaktion

You may remember our report on the ZH2 - an SUV with a GM hydrogen engine currently being tested by the US Army (if not, click HERE). General Motors doesn't want to stop at just this vehicle, they are introducing the Silent Utility Rover Universal Superstructure (SURUS). Currently just a concept, but an interesting one. A universal platform equipped with a hydrogen engine. It can be operated by either a single person or autonomously. The engine not only provides a powerful emission-free drive, but also generates a lot of electricity. It can be used as a mobile medical station, as shown above.Or as a mobile power station. Of course, it can also simply carry loads. Whether in civilian or military use, it has high potential. If you would like to learn more, you can read the press release HERE.
