ARC'TERYX LEAF: The end is near - for civilians

All people are equal, those in uniform are more equal: at least that's how Arc'teryx sees it, as it puts an end to the free availability of LEAF stuff, the official line. This is also very popular among civilians, bringing more diversity with muted colors to the wardrobe. In the future - specifically starting January 21, 2023 - Arc'teryx LEAF is really only intended for and exclusively for people who are in service. This is the statement from Arc'teryx on this:

Since its founding 20 years ago, Arc'teryx LEAF has developed top-notch technical clothing and equipment solutions for specialized end users from the military, government, and law enforcement (MIL-GOV-LE) sectors in selected NATO and NATO-allied countries.

Therefore, Arc'teryx LEAF products have specific technical features that are required for special military, governmental, and police purposes and are only produced in limited quantities.

To ensure that Arc'teryx LEAF products continue to be available in the quantities and timeframes needed for these main users, Arc'teryx LEAF has introduced a new distribution system. Starting January 21, 2023, Arc'teryx LEAF will select resellers based on their ability to serve contracts with government agencies and to sell directly or indirectly to government buyers.

With this refined strategic approach, we remain focused on delivering our products and services to our target market. This way, Arc'teryx LEAF can quickly respond to MIL-GOV-LE demand and ensure that the available supply remains reserved for those who ensure public and national security.
