The Czech armed forces are procuring 380 TigIR-6M thermal imaging devices for 2.7 million euros, with a potential for larger orders in the future. Andres Industries AG is anticipating a significant increase in turnover due to the current security situation.
The Czech armed forces are procuring 380 TigIR-6M worth 2.7 million euros for delivery later this year - pictured above is the Andres thermal imaging device attached to a ELCAN Specter DR on a Czech FN Minimi. After the first 60 devices successfully underwent intensive field tests and trials in 2021, this current order represents the second procurement for the Czech military. A further, significantly larger order is expected for next year. Additionally, other NATO countries are planning similar sized acquisitions for 2023.
Good news for the thermal imaging experts in Berlin: Andres Industries AG is forecasting a five-fold increase in turnover for the following fiscal year, attributed in part to the current security situation. In light of this, the company is currently preparing for the necessary increase in production capacity. Last year, the company expanded its facilities, and currently the required personnel are being trained accordingly. HERE you can get the TigIR directly from Andres Industries.
