The new thermal imaging attachment TigIR-M by Andres Industries AG offers military and law enforcement users a detection range of 3 km at significantly less than 500g. With its compact design and multiple folded optics, it fits on many machine guns for night use.
This year, Andres Industries AG is introducing the new thermal imaging attachment TigIR-M for military and law enforcement users. While the TIMRO-X was previously the smallest thermal imaging device for short distances, the TigIR is now designed for much larger ranges.
With its 55 mm thermal lens, it has a detection range of 3 km at a weight of significantly less than 500g.
However, the outstanding feature is the very short overall length, which could be achieved by using a multiple folded optics. With only 11 cm total length, the TigIR fits on many machine guns together with the primary optics, making them suitable for night use.
