Altama expands with a completely new Assault line. And the "Urban" is the first step in this direction.
The extremely popular Maritime Assault - HERE in the SPARTANAT Review - was originally intended for amphibious missions. It was meant to be worn without socks to quickly dry and provide a solid grip when moving in and out of the water with fins.
But customers started using the amphibious Altamas for their tactical credibility as everyday boots. For rappelling, hiking, weightlifting, meetings, shooting ranges, and in the office. The result, speaking from personal experience: the shoes were relatively warm, feet do start to smell.
In contrast, the Urban Assault line is designed for EDC on land. It will be equipped with an antimicrobial land insole and reinforced heel lining, with flexible upper material and a rubber outsole designed for the ground. An Altama purely for land.
Available in Mid and Low versions in Black, Multicam Black, Multicam Alpine and Multicam Alpine CP (more on this later).
If you want to check them out: Altama will be showcasing samples at the SHOT SHOW 2020 in Las Vegas. Visit booth #20149.
