The Hungarian army celebrated the completion of its Leopard 2A7HU delivery with a public parade attended by key military officials, including Minister of Defense Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky. The contract, signed in December 2018, encompassed not only battle tanks but also howitzers, bridge-laying systems, recovery vehicles, and training support.

The Hungarian army is celebrating the completion of the delivery of the Leopard 2A7HU with a public parade. In the presence of the Hungarian Minister of Defense, Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky, and the Inspector of the Hungarian Armed Forces, General Gábor Böröndi, the 1st Tank Brigade presented its systems. At the invitation of the Inspector of the Hungarian Armed Forces, the CEO of KNDS Germany (KNDS), Ralf Ketzel, attended.

As contractually agreed, the delivery of all vehicle systems has been completed on time. The contract, signed in December 2018, included not only the LEOPARD main battle tanks but also 24 PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers, three LEGUAN bridge-laying systems, and five WiSENT recovery vehicles, a simulation center, as well as a comprehensive training and logistics package.
