The Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment (BAAINBw) has terminated its framework agreement with HECKLER & KOCH for 250,000 assault rifles, specifically the G95A1 and G95KA1 models. This decision includes an additional 160,000 rifles previously contracted.
The Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) has completely called off the framework agreement with HECKLER & KOCH for the manufacture and delivery of 250,000 assault rifles of the types G95A1 and G95KA1. This was announced by the company today. This involves around 160,000 additional assault rifles of the types G95A1 and G95KA1. The contract volume for the call-off of the option is expected to exceed half a billion euros.
