The AirRobot GmbH & Co. KG, part of the Nordic Unmanned Group, presents its innovative and modular AR100-H drone system, which will be delivered to the Bundeswehr as part of the recently signed MIKADO contract.
"The AR100-H system was designed, developed, and produced by our expert team in Germany and meets military DIN EN9100 standards. The robust and compact drone system is unique," Björn Behrmann, Managing Director of AirRobot.
The AR100-H system is a foldable small drone that is modular in design. All relevant components can be replaced with a few simple steps and without tools. It is a flexible, lightweight, and low-noise drone system specifically developed for the armed forces and police special units. The drone systems include all the necessary equipment that a modern soldier needs in the field to assess the situation day and night and in all weather conditions.
"Mikado" (Micro Reconnaissance Drone) is a stationary micro reconnaissance drone. The system is based on the more than 24,000 flights and operational experience of the old AR100-B, which is still in use by the Bundeswehr. Since 2005, AirRobot has been a long-standing supplier of drones to the Bundeswehr and currently holds a maintenance contract (MRO) with the Bundeswehr.
