The Ulm-based systems integrator ELBIT SYSTEMS DEUTSCHLAND, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., will once again participate as an exhibitor at the ILA Berlin Air Show in 2026, showcasing a range of advanced technologies tailored to the needs of the Bundeswehr and other European partners. In doing so, the company underscores its growing role in supporting the defense capabilities of Germany and NATO partners.

ELBIT SYSTEMS maintains a long-standing, trusting partnership with the German Armed Forces in key areas such as rocket artillery systems, aircraft protection systems, maritime electronic warfare, and air defense command and control systems. The German subsidiary ELBIT SYSTEMS DEUTSCHLAND continues to expand its position as one of ELBIT’s most important regional hubs in Europe, combining local expertise with global innovation. Headquartered in Ulm with additional locations throughout Germany, the company works closely with leading domestic industry partners to develop and deliver agile, mission-ready solutions.

Highlights at ILA Berlin 2026

At its booth, the company will present models and other visualizations of its latest defense technology solutions to showcase the full technological range and innovative strength of ELBIT SYSTEMS across various sectors.

As part of a world premiere, ELBIT SYSTEMS will also unveil high-power laser (HPL) systems for airborne platforms and counter-unmanned aerial vehicle (C-UAS) applications for the first time. These next-generation laser systems represent a significant advancement in laser-based air defense and are capable of neutralizing a wide range of airborne threats quickly, precisely, and with minimal collateral damage. The new airborne laser systems complement Elbit’s ground-based high-power laser technology, which is being procured as part of the “Iron Beam” (“Or Eitan”) of the Israeli Ministry of Defense.

In addition, Elbit Systems will showcase the new E-LynX™ UxS, an extension of its proven E-LynX™ Software Defined Radio (SDR) product family, designed to connect manned and unmanned air and ground platforms into a single, unified, and secure communications network. The E-LynX™ UxS was developed to meet the growing demand in the context of multi-domain operations and provides persistent, high-bandwidth, and fail-safe connectivity for unmanned systems—for the transmission of telemetry, command and control data, as well as payload data such as video and sensor feeds.

In addition, the company will present a variety of solutions tailored to local and regional markets that reflect Elbit Systems’ technological breadth and leadership. The presentation includes self-protection systems for aircraft, the “Iron Fist” active protection system for armored vehicles, land-based electronic warfare capabilities, and the world-leading PULS multiple rocket launcher system—currently being procured in Germany — alongside the SkyStriker loitering munition (picture) — which, among other things, can be deployed by PULS to deliver high-precision strike capabilities over long distances.

Also on display will be the Hermes 650, the latest model in Elbit’s highly successful Hermes family of unmanned aerial vehicles; Elbit’s X-Sight—a helmet-mounted display and tracking system for helicopters that provides enhanced situational awareness and greater mission effectiveness—as well as the SPECTRO family of electro-optical payloads, including the new SPECTRO 12, a smaller and lighter variant with advanced sensor technology.

The company will also showcase the THOR and Magni-X multirotor UAS families, which have already been procured by armed forces in Europe and the United States. The exhibition will be complemented by advanced radio and communication systems for robust multi-domain connectivity, as well as the Rampage long-range precision missile for air-launched operations.

ELBIT SYSTEMS DEUTSCHLAND welcomes interested visitors at the ILA in Hall D, Booth 240.
