Agilite Axis - new knee pads for the IDF

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they will be introducing the Agilite Axis ™ tactical knee pads as standard equipment for all IDF combat troops from March 2017.

In and of itself a modern interpretation of an old industrial design, the Axis have the advantage of not slipping like regular knee pads. Although they look rather unusual (they are referred to as "Robocop knee pads" in Israel), the Axis outperformed any other type of knee pad in extensive IDF field trials that lasted several months.

The IDF wanted new knee pads with increased durability and performance that do not slip down, in order to increase readiness for combat. The Agilite Axis were selected by the IDF SOF after a long testing phase. Agilite is now beginning tests of the Axis knee pads with SOF groups across Europe and North America.
