AFCEA 24: Drones, swarms, communication

Elbit Systems Deutschland (ESDE) will present the proven communication solutions of the SDR radio family E-LynX at the AFCEA trade show.

The Ulm-manufactured version of the soldier's radio E-LynX PNR 1000 is already being delivered to the Bundeswehr. Additionally, the SDR HF broadband and Cognitive Radio solution of the HRM 9xxx product series, also developed in southern Germany, will be on display.

Legion-X will also be presented. A solution that enables UAVs and UGVs to be used as autonomous drone swarms for combat units, border protection tasks, and homeland security within a conventional operational concept. With Legion-X, drones of different types are networked with manned and unmanned vehicles, individual shooters, and command posts, forming a multidimensional, flexible unit that is also prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
