Accuracy International becomes FN Browning

FN Browning Group and Accuracy International have entered into a strategic acquisition agreement under which the Group will acquire the global specialist in precision bolt-action rifle systems.

This strategic combination brings together two highly complementary players and further strengthens FN Browning Group's leading position across both its Defence & Security and its Hunting & Sports Shooting divisions, while making a significant contribution to the United Kingdom's sovereign industrial capabilities in small arms.

Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Portsmouth, Accuracy International is internationally recognised as a benchmark in precision bolt-action and extreme long-range rifle systems, serving armed forces, law enforcement agencies and highly demanding sports shooters worldwide serving over 50 countries in the last five years.

Within FN Browning Group's portfolio, Accuracy International naturally complements FN, the Group's flagship defence and security brand specialising in small arms, integrated weapon systems, NATO‑standard ammunition and high‑technology equipment for armed forces and security institutions. It also strengthens the Group's Hunting & Sports Shooting offering alongside the Browning and Winchester brands.
