Aardvark: Many little helpers

09/28/2021By Redaktion

The RANG-R (Remote Autonomous Next Generation-Rover) is intended to be the answer to the challenge of supplying missions in hazardous environments. It is the next generation autonomous multi-purpose ground vehicle (Unmanned Ground Vehicle, UGV) from the Aardvark Group.

RANG-R was developed in collaboration with developers in the fields of autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, sensor technology, and human-machine interface and can be used for military, police, security, as well as for search and rescue operations. Through an advanced toolkit, the UGV can be adapted to a variety of mission requirements.

Key capabilities:

  • Used for logistical support, C-EO/C-IED, humanitarian, and missions
  • Payload capacity of 3,850 kg (2 x NATO pallets)
  • Autonomous loading and unloading possible
  • Top speed of 70 km/h
  • Range of 100 km and 72 hours of operation without resupply

Through collaboration with operators worldwide, Aardvark has developed an advanced technological solution to meet the needs of its customers, a UGV that can significantly support the front line, reduce the logistical burden of resupply, while ensuring safety and sustaining all efforts in the mission. "Our customers needed a multi-purpose UGV solution that embodies reliability, survivability, and affordability, and I am convinced that the RANG-R meets these requirements fully." David St John-Claire, CEO of Aardvark Group.
