A-TACS: Revival of the green version

After it was announced that the original A-TACS AU is returning, the next coup follows. Digital Concealment Systems, LLC, the parent company of the camouflage brand A-TACS, is responding to consumer demand and market demands by finally bringing back the original A-TACS FG.

Introduced for the first time in 2010, A-TACS FG has established itself as a unique alternative to the heavily digitized foliage patterns that were common in the tactical market at that time. When developing a green variant as a successor to the already popular original A-TACS AU camouflage pattern, the simple answer would have been to simply re-color the existing pattern and release it as a green variant. This approach may have been easier and faster, but it was not the approach to develop an effective pattern for temperate climates. The characteristic environmental elements and shapes found in greener, temperate environments had to be taken into account. The answer was to design a completely new pattern from scratch.
